Hi,
thank you for your email.
First of all I must say that I have never encountered a fake EMC.
All I can speak of is the real products and I really hope that will help you to detect possible fake products.
First of all, all EMC are packed and produced in the U.S
They come in 4oz (118ml) round white plastic bottles - ONLY
In the bottom of the bottle you will find the following (3)printing:
DELTA
See picture below - NR 5 LOGO
Any number between 1 and 1000
They should be marked with expiration date but there have been times where the date have been missing.

Any packing into smaller containers should be treated as fake and should be reported to nearest authorized reseller or distributor.

Second:
When you open a jar you will see a white paper/plastic mix seal. It is your guarantee for a non used jar. If the seal is missing it is most likely that you have received a used (or possible fake) jar.
As for the cream itself.
There have been reports of two different kind of texture.
Nr:1
Very soft, oily, dark yellow. When you push your finger down in the jar it will reach the bottom within seconds almost without resistance.
Nr:2
Pretty hard, light and you can pick out clumps (although they are very easy to rub into the oily cream it should be).
Both of the creams are made by the same producer (the original) and they give the same result. The reson for the two different kinds comes from the places they are packed.
The cream itself should be oily and it should stay on your skin for most part of the day. The fragrance is almost non existing and it reminds of honey mixed with olive oil.
